The Question:
from Michael D. Miller NICE SHOOTING ANN

I just saw today's picture of the Female Calliope Hummingbird and all I can say is NICE SHOOTING.

Then I visited your gallery and web site and see that you are serious shooter. Previous Response:

I just read your bio and was smiling so I thought I'd add this to show you I completely understand.

I started with the Brownie (Hawkeye-I think) in the mid 50's and had my first 35mm rangefinder, no meter camera about 1956. It was a Petri 1.9, 50mm fixed lens. I used that camera with the 50mm lens through high school and 4 years of the Marine Corps. Along the way in the USMC, I picked up a new Rolleicord 2 1/4 ($59.55) aboard ship and started shooting with that and the Petri. Later, I used the Olympus OM-1>>OM2n, and a Koni-Omega 2 3/4. About 2000, I finally bought my first Nikon, the N90S, then the D70, and currently use the D300.

I am not a member of BP, favoring Nikonians instead.
